Terms & Conditions

Little Care provides professional childcare and family support services, including:
- Sick Childcare Centre (when available)
- In-home childcare
- Postpartum support

Our services are designed to complement – not replace – appropriate medical care.

Service Provision

    Acceptance into any Little Care service is subject to assessment and availability.

    We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services where:
    - A child's medical needs exceed the level of care we can safely provide.
    - Appropriate staffing is unavailable.
    - Required medical information has not been provided.
    - Admission criteria are not met.

    Little Care reserves the right to determine whether a child is suitable for our services.

Little Care does not provide emergency medical services.

If a child develops signs of serious illness or clinical deterioration while in our care, we will:
- Contact the parent or guardian immediately.
- Arrange appropriate emergency medical assistance where necessary.
- Take any reasonable steps required to protect the child's health and safety.

Any costs relating to ambulance transport, hospital treatment or emergency medical services remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

Medical Information

Parents or legal guardians agree to provide complete and accurate information regarding:

  • Medical history

  • Allergies

  • Current medications

  • Chronic medical conditions

  • Dietary requirements

  • Emergency contacts

  • Treating healthcare providers

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect our ability to provide safe care.

Medication Administration

Medication will only be administered:

  • In accordance with a valid prescription or written medical instruction where applicable.

  • With written authorisation from a parent or legal guardian.

  • According to Little Care's medication administration procedures.

Little Care reserves the right to decline medication administration where instructions are unclear or where safe administration cannot be ensured.

 

Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings are subject to availability.

Cancellation and rescheduling policies will be communicated at the time of booking.

Failure to attend a scheduled booking without notice may result in cancellation fees.

 

Fees and Payment

Fees are payable according to the pricing communicated at the time of booking.

Payment terms may vary depending on the service provided.

Outstanding accounts may result in suspension of future services until payment has been received.

Little Care reserves the right to amend its pricing from time to time.

 

Home Care Services

For in-home services, parents or guardians agree to:

  • Provide a safe working environment.

  • Ensure pets are appropriately secured where necessary.

  • Provide accurate directions and access to the home.

  • Ensure that another responsible adult is available if required.

Little Care reserves the right to withdraw staff where safety concerns exist.

 

Sick Childcare Centre

Admission to the Sick Childcare Centre is limited to children whose medical condition falls within the scope of care provided by Little Care.

Children requiring hospital admission, continuous medical monitoring or specialised nursing care may not be admitted.

Admission criteria may change as services evolve.

 

Postpartum Support

Little Care provides practical, non-emergency postpartum support.

Our services do not replace routine medical care, emergency care or specialist obstetric or paediatric services.

Parents remain responsible for all healthcare decisions.
